My sister, of all people, is jonesing for World of Warcraft. (I let my subscription expire in order to take care of a few financial issues.) The irony of this situation is so rich that if I could sell it, I'd never have to work again. She even went to try and ask my mother to pay for a month until I got things back in order. This went over about as well as you might expect.

Really, both of them are irritable beyond belief today. Makes me glad I spent most of my day in my room studying Poli Sci. Ral is worrying about her boyfriend going to the wrong American football school (that is, one that's too far away from her, or in, say, North Dakota. Heh.), and Mom's not so subtle about saying maybe the fellow's Not Ambitious Enough.

Lack of ambition being a cardinal sin in both their personal theologies, of course, and Ral only living with it because she's so deliriously happy not to be dating one of the endless number of wannabe gangsters that dot our fair city's youth culture (especially the black kids, sad enough. Anyone trying to play the racism card will be trumped.), and because either she thinks she can change him, or because she thinks it isn't that bad.

Not sure which. But hey, I might not be the first of us to snap and go on a killing spree after all!

Especially with things as they are, really. The hardest of the exams I have this term are over, and passed pretty well, if I do say so myself. I have Poli Sci on Monday, which will be cake, and the only danger for my Ring Theory and Group Theory exams on Thursday is that I'll forget which one is which.

Also, as a welcome bonus, been seeing a good deal of Lindsay lately - it's entirely too tempting, her living on campus where I. spend lots of my time in any case. Her roommates must hate me. :) Introduced her to Dogma Friday afternoon - think I've made another Kevin Smith fan. *grins* With luck, I'll see her again before she goes home next weekend.

Basically, I'm doing great. Not (always) bouncing off the walls and shouting for joy, but I'm happy these days. Now I just need to find a job for the summer, since it appears Alberta Finance doesn't want to employ me. Hrm.

AND becauase I love commenting so much (and missed it the first time), clever pun. har har. :p

And Alberta Finance is crazy for not wanting to hire you. They clearly don't know what they're missing.

*tries to look innocent. Fails miserably*
Pun? What pun?

Oh, that pun. Do your worst: I'll go to my death swearing that was unintentional.

Actually, do your worst anyway. ;)

And my bus service will suck less, at that.

We may, in fact, be doomed. ;)
