You did not just say that.

"250 pounds is easy to gain!"

Ral, you weigh 170. Seeing a 420 pound woman on Oprah is no excuse to suddenly fly into a panic and start skipping rope right in the living room because you're almost hal her weight.

The sheer fear she showed scared me. As if she genuinely thought that she could wake up one morning and have a mass the size of two of me suddenly grafted onto her body. Desperately seeing reassurance from all her loved ones that, of course they'd still love her if she gained 250 lbs, even though the chances of that happening are almost nil.

On one hand, if it gets her to eat healthy and exercise, I suppose it's welcome. On the other, I can't help but worry that she's trying to do this too quickly, and will hurt herself.

Not that she'll listen to me anyway.

If you'd like a data point, that kind of weight takes *years* to put on. Five or six of them, at minimum. I'd know.

However, if you put a picture of a 420lb woman on your door, would it keep her out?
