I had meant to link the Campaign for Real Beauty a good couple of months ago - I'd heard the story in the news somwhere, and was very pleased at it - I have to thank euph0ra for bringing it back to my attention (and am in fact doing so as I write this). It is good to see a major corporation trying to turn the tide of unrealistic body images and standards of beauty in our women...and in the eyes of our men.

Look hard, girls. There is no shame in having curves and looking healthy. Like you've eaten sometime in the past week.

Look hard, guys. This is what real women look like. The models and actresses we all drool over are famous because they are outliers, not because they are necessarily better.

A thousand beauties pass scorned under your eyes each and every day. Recognise them. Appreciate them. Glory in them.

I need to bring things to your attention more often *wry smile*

Much better post than mine in regards to this. Well done. *applauds*

Re: *laughs merrily!*
I shall try and encourage you to do so as best I can. :P

Besides, you know me, I never miss a chance to wax poetic.
