Between getting a bit of technical support work to do yesterday, and my sister stealing the computer from me at every opportunity, I wasn't able to post this before today. Bah.

So Sunday went...pretty well, I'd say.

Saw Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill at the Princess with Pragya (psykokandy) - it's a cute, quirky movie that would feel right at home on the Discovery Channel. Tugs on funny bones and heartstrings at the same time. Worth seeing if ever you get a chance - though it's almost frighteningly indie. :D

Went for coffee...well, tea, with her afterwards. It was a very casual sort of thing, honestly, just like two friends meeting. Really, all my first dates are like that - which is the big reason why I, to the amusement of many, refuse to really call them dates until I have an idea how things develop afterwards. We seem to get along well enough, and I do like her, which is key to whichever outcome may come out, especially for someone like me - I can only really envision dating someone who I could be friends with. I suppose this means that I should either get used to hearing The Infamous Speech a lot, or find some way to take advantage of the qualities that apparently make me a good friend.

And cherish the rare chances where some unusually perceptive woman requires neither. :)

Time will tell. Of course. There's too much happening for it to be otherwise.

Got a nice little bit of work yesterday, fixing a bizarre little Windows problem that popped up on the system of a contractor I'd worked with during my work term. Got paid $100 for it too, not bad for a few hours' work. And he was pretty impressed, too - I think I may just have accidentally started a busienss like Andy's, because heaven knows I'll be earning recommendations up the wazoo over this.

Back to school tomorrow. Yay for waking up at 7 to bus out at quarter to eight.

I have to get out of here.

Indeed. You're either smiling on exit, or you're checking to make sure you still have a pulse. :P
