March of the Fanpeople

Just a quick little update - my bus comes in fifteen minutes, and I'm supposed to meet vlosk and his blogless girlfriend Jen at 5 - the concert's at 7, but we want to eat something beforehand.

You could not really have expected me not to post a "yay, I'm going to see NIN tonight" entry, could you? Though it's not going to be as...intimate and energetic as the club shows I went to earlier this year (Garbage and VNV), it still promises to be...an experience.

You will doubtless be unable to stop me from telling you all about it upon my return.

I came across a really excellent book as I was packing. It's called "Japan's Past, Japan's Future" by Ienaga Saburo (sometimes shown as Saburo Ienaga). I don't even really like the Japanese - it's not really a racist thing, I swear. It's kind of cultural / family-based. Don't ask, I doubt you want to know or care. - and I still loved the book. Anyway, my back hurts and even my cat's starting to bitch about the lack of attention, let alone my family wondering where the hell I've been the past month. I get up, eat some kind of breakfasty bar, go to work, do overtime for an hour, come home, eat, take a shower/bath, pack and crawl into bed. Lucky me. Did I mention it's that special time of month again? Hmph. Kethry

The whole time driving to skating, I was listening to Sonic and all the people gloating about going, and they played all kinds of NIN and Queens of the Stone Age, and I just sat there thinking "Damn you all!" And I'm not even a huge fan of NIN! (Don't get me wrong, I really like them, but not as much as say... Weezer, but I'd rather see NIN in concert. Uh... don't ask me why?)

ANYway, looking forward to hearing all about it.
