Shear Me

Hungry and sleepy, so very not up to writing a real entry. As much as I want to comment on the downfall of two of my political enemies, the impending end of my class term, and other such stuff and nonsense, that will all have to wait.

For those of you following along at home, I proposed a little game for you last week, failing to take into account that most of you either know entirely too much about me or are singularly incurious, and thus only two of you answered, only one of whom asked me anything. That said, I said I'd answer any questions posed in that post's comments, and answer I shall.

Can you tie a cherry stem into a knot with your tongue?

Not yet. Practice makes perfect? ;)

What was the most traumatizing thing to happen to you before the age of seven?

It's a toss-up between tossing my younger sister down a flight of stairs (age 4) and being blamed by my late and unlamented dad for my parents' impending divorce (age 7).

What's the nastiest thing you've ever eaten?

The cooked head of a goat. Eyes apparently included.

If your child were born with a tail, would you have it surgically removed?

Depends - how long is this tail you speak of? Concealable under a top, I'd leave the decision to them when they got older. Longer than that, I'd probably say yes.

What color underwear are you wearing right now?

At home, so...does none count as a colour?

What is your favourite sad song?

Right now, "It's All Over But The Crying", by Garbage.

Describe a time when you should have tried harder?

Right after my first surgeries, when I could have done a much better and more diligent job with my physiotherapy. Being 12, typically rebellious against nagging, and unsure when I would need the capacities I was losing is less of an excuse than it used to be.

That is all.

.... Goat head = interesting. Though frankly, I haven't participated because I can't think of any questions that I don't know the answer to [or more likely, as I think on it], would rather not know the answer too.... oiy. not that some good questions don't exist, just that I can't think of any...

How about we turn this around though, and I'll answer any two questions of yours, provided you answer them yourself in turn [and haven't already have had them asked]

Heh. I'm not _that_ strange, am I?

Sure, two questions for you...borrowed from fridayfiver, since I'm far too busy to be creative. The answers to them are above.

1) What is your favourite sad song?

2) Describe a time when you should have tried harder.

Favorite Sad Song...

Kamelot - Lost & Damned [sad concept] or perhaps Meatloaf - Rear View Miror. I know and enjoy plenty of sad-ish goth tunes [your fault, mainly] but that would be way too easy...

Time I should have tied harder... I pretty much gave up on this sustainability project, which is never good [and I've done similar for several class projects]... asside from this, I lost my chance for a relationship back in highschool due to not trying hard enough, but I think I'm happier with Jen than I ever would with Alanna, so I'm not sure if this really counts either. If anything, I typically try too hard, and have to sacfrice bits and pieces of my personal life or lesser projects.... so its kinda an odd one I guess.

Good questions though - how about you?

When I said my answers were above, it wasn't for shits and giggles - they've been edited into the original post. :P
