Return of the Shit-Eating Grin

I just destroyed my US Politics midterm. I finally managed to make myself do about an hour or two's worth of preparation (mostly skimming the textbook on the bus to school this morning), but it proved largely unnecessary. Flew through the multiple choice section (35 questions in ten minutes), which was a big help in dealing with the three essay questions on the 50-minute exam. Methinks that part was a little excessive.

Not that, you know, I'm letting this go to my head or anything. :D

Well congratulations. While you're riding high, you wanna take a swing at my MATH 125 exam tomorrow?

I won't take no for an answer.

If you won't take no for an answer, how about "C"? As in, my grade from MATH 125 when I took it two and a half years ago? :P

It'd be my third. I failed the first time (due, admittedly, to a hilarious incident that you might recall, and Tom definitely recalls.)

Well that's good because "third time's the charm" is the actual expression! :V

Seriously, though, I don't recall said incident - guess I'll be going digging through your LJ now....

Aha, found it *snicker*. That's almost happened to me like three times.

I was actually late for the exam when I took it the second time too, which amused Tom to no end (he was in that class with me, I think), but that time it was just traffic.

You wrote the wrong exam and aced it? Like, were you even in the class?

He wrote the exam for the wrong section of the class he was in. Since he'd attended something like one lecture the entire term, I can understand him being confused. :P

Bah, you assume that I even attended that first lecture! And here I could have sworn I was in lecture section M4 when it turned out to be M2 or the like... bleh, but hey, thanks to that whole confusion I ended up meeting Jen, so I'm not overly concerned....

Still though, beware the revenge of Murphy! Bwa Ha ha ha
