Wheel of Calamity, Turn, Turn, Turn

...tell us the lesson that we should learn.

I'm not usually one for orientations, but I actually wanted to show up for most of this one. This is, of course, why I got dramatically sick Wednesday and proceeded to miss those remaining activities that I had hoped to join. Oh, well. At least it's better to miss them than to miss class. Said classes apparently start Monday. My first class is actually at 1PM. I had to check several times to be sure I wasn't hallucinating.

On the bright side, at least the housing situation's been sorted out. We check out of the hotel and move into our new place tomorrow. Welll...today, now. Heh. Combine that with my student loan getting sorted out, and I'm actually beginning to feel optimistic that the rest of this move will go off well.

What a terrifying thought.

No hon, it's called Murphy's Law
But I am glad to hear the moving in is looking good. Having a consistent roof over one's head does seem to make everything seem more stable.
